Kunteng 12 mosfets to S12S

Kunteng 12 mosfets to S12S



You may have an Kunteng controller that have hall sensor cables but that does not do sinewave. I did mod this controller to a S12S version (sinewave control version). Seems the boards are equal but with one important missing component (and expensive one I think): phase B current sensor.

You only need to solder the phase current sensor on the board and also solder the green phase wire to the other pad.
This mod had been done with success on other Kunteng of 6 mosfets and 12 mosfets controllers.

I've soldered in the ACS712 now. You have to remove the solder bridge at the backside of the board:

48V ↔ 24V/36V



The difference from the 24V/36V version controllers to 48V seems to be the power resistor that handles a voltage drop. On 48V the resistor seems to have a value of 200R (red, black and brown lists) while the 24V/36V a 60R resistor. I had also seen a 24V/36V with a 80R resistor.
